Great Experience all around. I had significant wind damage from the recent high winds, many missing tabs. Contacted LJ for an estimate. Mark came out the next day and said I may also have hail damage and suggested I file a claim. Mark came back and met with the Adjuster to look things over. Unfortunately Insurance said hail damage was not enough to pay on and wind damage would not cover anything after deductible. Mark got me a price in a day or so and it seemed reasonable. Signed paperwork on Friday and shingles were dropped Monday. They called and let me know they would be there Tuesday to start since I had the wind damage. The owner Jim came that morning introduced himself and the Crew Lead Charlie and they went to work. Jim said to call him if I had any concerns. They used a dump trailer which I liked as I did not have a dumpster on my drive for a week like I have seen with neighbors. Jim came back during and at end of the day and said they would finish the next day and took the trailer away. Called me the next day to say what time they would come as it had rained a little. The crew came back and worked hard again to finish. Jim came back at the end of day to check things over. When I came out he was two houses down the road looking for any trash that got away from the crew while working, it was a bit windy. As we did the walk thru we happened to find that our hot water heater vent stack had come apart in the process, I did not see it, he did when I opened the garage. The crew could not have seen it as it was inside the closed garage. Jim personally went up in the garage and then on the roof to help get that corrected. When he came down he said it felt warm in the garage(Up high) and thought I could use some more ventilation for the garage roof. I said it's what I had before and seemed fine but if he thought so give me a cost. He called me the next day and said he wanted to add a little ventilation and was going to do it at no additional charge. He did not want any future issues on the shingle warranty due to improper ventilation. They stopped by today and did that, Jim stopped to make sure it all went well. Mark also stopped back during and after to make sure I was happy and that everything went well. All I can say is how much I was impressed by Jim, he really takes pride in the work his company does. How many places does the owner make multiple visits to make sure everything is up to his standards. Charlie and the crew cleaned up well every day did not find any nails. I would recommend LJ Contractors to friends and family.

I was referred to LJ contractor from several friends that had roofs put on, l explained to him i wanted my chimney taken down, complete roof and gutters, Jim came out to look at the project and gave me a very reasonable estimate, several days later the crew was there at 7am i came home for lunch at noon they were cleaning up, the house and garage were finished, gutter crew were there the next morning had it done in a few hours, I was completely satisfied with LJ contractors from the communication to the clean up, I highly recommend, roof and gutters look great 👍🏻

I have had LJ Contractors on my mind for a while now! When the hail storm hit South Milwaukee last year, our neighborhood got hit very hard and there were literally a dozen people coming to everyone's home trying to get there business for repairs. We bypassed the storm chasers and asked a very reliable friend in the gutter business who he would recommend for our roof and siding. Without hesitation, he gave us Jim's name from LJ Contractors. We were not disappointed in the least! Jim and his crew helped us understand the process, pick out roof and siding styles & colors and kept us in the loop on start times and supply strains. The crew we had working on our home were very pleasant, extremely efficient, meticulous, tidy and timely. We were also happy with the fact that Jim would act as a go between when we felt stuck with our insurance company. The end result of our home is beautiful and will be for years to come, its a great feeling! We were also happy with the competitive pricing. I would definitely let Jim use our home as a reference for future clients. Hopefully we won't have to go through this again, but Jim is the first one I would call! Thank you so much!! Reasonable prices. Caring. Excellent work. We had a leak in our roof that was discovered when having some inside ceiling painting done. We received a quote from LJ Contractors, LLC, and the work was done in a timely manner. Jim called us the next day after doing the repair to ask if the roof leaked overnight since we had a major thunderstorm. Our roof unfortunately did leak during the rainstorm. Jim returned to our house the next day, got up on the roof to check everything over and found the problem. He personally repaired the roof and now we have had no leaks. This was all completed with the utmost customer service and care I could have ever hoped for. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family. Thank you, Jim - you are the best!
